How the program works

The Aetna program works differently in various countries. Please refer to the attached document and read in its entirety to understand what should be done before a missionary accesses care.

How the Program Works

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Church) has contracted with Aetna International to provide access to providers who are willing to accept payment directly from Aetna or its partners. In Argentina, Aetna International has partnered with Swiss Medical Group, a large medical group. As members of the Aetna International program, missionaries will have access to the Swiss Medical Group providers.

We're pleased to offer you valuable resources for finding health care no matter where you are in the world. After registering on the Swiss Medical Group website, Missions can view the participating providers who accept payment from Swiss Medical Group. Registration instructions are included in the Aetna International Overview document entitled How the Program Works.
